Well, this is interesting.
After reading on a certain social networking site (*cough*Facebook*cough*) that a friend had started a blog, I decided to look for a website to start my own.
First website I open, I am faced with my very own blog from two years ago!
Unsurprisingly, after setting up my account and filling in the obligatory 'about me' section, I moved on and my blog was left, never to be seen again. Until today.
So, what's happened over the past two years, I hear my many followers ask. Well, in short, I've grown up more than I could have imagined. I've learnt that I can and will succeed if I just put my mind to something. I've realised that what I have to say IS of worth and I've met the most hilarious, interesting, understanding people who I hope to be friends with for the rest of my days.
Being a third year university student fills me with a mixture of emotions. I can't wait for what the future holds, but I also don't want it to end. I feel like university is going very slowly and I need to be on to the next stage in my life already, but when I think back to Freshers' week, almost two years ago, I realise just how quickly it's gone!
I've noticed a lot of people my age suggesting that they are old recently. Of all the comments I'd expect 20-21 year olds to make, this is not one of them. Twenty-one is only the beginning of a great adventure and, personally, I CANNOT WAIT!
Here's to an exciting, terrifying and emotional third year!
